Sevilla are said to be close to securing the signing of Stoke City’s Steven N’Zonzi.
The French midfielder has been with the English Premier League side since his arrival from Blackburn Rovers in 2012.
“We are negotiating for N’Zonzi,” Rojiblancos director of football Monchi is quoted as saying by Marca.
The official did however admit his club’s need to tie up a deal as soon as possible.
“We are in the battle, but our margin for movement is getting smaller because at Sevilla we like to manage our time well.”
