Talisca in, Arda out at Atleti?

Atletico Madrid are reportedly facing a fight to keep Arda Turan from Milan but could replace him with Benfica starlet Anderson Talisca.

Milan were recently the subject of significant investment from Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol, and AS understands that the impending arrival of Jackson Martinez could be followed by that of the Turkey international.

The newspaper explains that Milan have tried to tempt Arda with a lucrative contract offer and the promise of a €150m project to return Milan among Europe’s elite via his agent Ahmet Bulut.

Nonetheless, the 28-year-old – who scored the winner in Turkey’s 1-0 victory over Kazakhstan in Euro 2016 qualifying last week – is believed to not only be motivated by money.

Arda has two years left on his contract, which can be bought out for €41m, and his Coach Diego Simeone recently admitted that he expected more from the midfielder last season.

The Portuguese Press, meanwhile, have claimed that Atleti are keen on negotiating a deal with Benfica that would see Talisca and Raul Jimenez swap clubs.

The Mexican striker endured a difficult first season at the Vicente Calderon, and A Bola claims the Eagles, along with Porto, have sent Los Colchoneros enquiries for his services.

However, Benfica hold an advantage in any negotiations that may ensue as the attacking midfielder is reportedly wanted by Atleti, although the 21-year-old is rated at €25m.
