Everton are reportedly in talks with Barcelona to bring back Gerard Deulofeu on a permanent basis.
A €4.1m transfer has been mooted by the Daily Mail, although Mundo Deportivo insists an agreement is still some way from being reached.
The attacker is understood to have already made it clear that he is not prepared to be loaned out for a third season and thus could be Premier League-bound.
Deulofeu has made just six appearances for Barca since breaking through in 2012 and endured an unsuccessful loan spell at Sevilla last season.
Nonetheless, the 21-year-old became a fans’ favourite during his time with the Toffees in 13-14, scoring four goals in 29 matches, and remains a regular for Spain Under-21s.
