Iker Casillas has appeared to end speculation about his future by heading Real Madrid’s advertising campaign for their new kit.
In a photo released by Los Blancos’ official Twitter account, the goalkeeper is at the forefront, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema and Marcelo standing behind him.
TVE reported only last week that the 34-year-old was ready to make way for David de Gea, but Madrid have now taken the step of using him as their main promotional figure.
Casillas will wear an all-black ensemble if he stays at Madrid this summer, while the outfield equivalent is completely white, barring the Adidas stripes and badge.
