Mundo Deportivo has reported Sevilla Coach Unai Emery this week met with Napoli President Aurelio Di Laurentiis.
Emery is in demand after guiding Los Rojiblancos to a second straight Europa League success, while Napoli are looking for a new trainer as Rafa Benitez has left, apparently bound for Real Madrid.
The President was said to be expecting a positive answer from Emery after offering him the bench, with a three-year contract worth €3.5m a year on offer. Emery’s assistants would also move with him.
Sevilla are well aware Emery could leave and want an answer themselves on whether or not he will see out another year.
President Jose Castro has said he expects Emery to honour his word and stay a little longer, MD add.
