Juanmi, Vitolo and Pedro Rodriguez all gave their verdict on Spain’s 2-0 defeat to Netherlands at the Amsterdam ArenA after the final whistle.
Juanmi and Vitolo were both handed their La Roja debuts, the Malaga striker lasting an hour and the Sevilla winger a second-half substitute for the Barcelona forward, who started the match in spite of his struggles at Camp Nou.
“The team did great in the second half. We only lacked a pinch of luck,” Juanmi told reporters.
“I’m happy about making my [Spain] debut,” added Vitolo. “I felt comfortable, but I'm sad about the defeat.”
Pedro completed a hat-trick of post-match interviews, saying: “In the second half the team showed their face and went for the win.
“The team are doing well, with lots of young players.”
