Vitoria Guimaraes attacking midfielder Bernard Mensah is attracting interest from La Liga giants Valencia.
Reports emanating in both Portugal and the player’s native Ghana claim the Primera outfit are considering making Guimaraes an offer to take him to Mestalla this summer, although any official bid is yet to be received.
However, the 20-year-old [pictured, right] insists he has only heard of the alleged interest through the media.
“I’ve heard about clubs being interested in me from the media but right now my focus remains on my club and our push for Europe,” he told All Sports.
Mensah has scored four goals in 23 League appearances this season, while last year he found the back of the net eight times in 26 outings.
