Levante boss Lucas Alcaraz believed his players were worthy of a draw after being beaten 1-0 at home by Celta Vigo at the weekend.
Charles scored the only goal of the game for the Galicians three minutes from time, leaving the Valencia based side in the bottom three just two points clear of Granada.
“They had more control in the first half and created more danger, but it in the second half the game became more balanced,” Alcaraz told a Press conference.
“Both teams had their chances and for me a draw would have been a fairer result. My youngsters deserved at least a point for the effort they put in, but decisiveness or indecisiveness inside the box is what it all boils down to in the end.
“We now have 10 finals left and the next match against Almeria is very important.”
