Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu has admitted that he does not know what the future holds for Dani Alves.
The right-back’s contract expires at the end of the season and both the player and his agent have expressed concerns that the Catalans have yet to enter talks over a renewal.
The club also recently appointed a new technical committee, headed by former Milan director Ariedo Braida, but Bartomeu conceded he was in the dark about their plans for Alves.
“The technical committee are working on plans for next season," the patron mused to RNE.
“I’m happy with them because they’ve been holding meetings, which I haven’t participated in, and haven’t leaked anything, but I don’t know if they’re discussing [Dani] Alves.”
