Iker Casillas has defended the right of the Real Madrid supporters to jeer him or anyone else they see fit.
Casillas was whistled by a section of Santiago Bernabeu during Saturday’s 2-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna but on Monday said the fans’ opinions have to be respected.
“Everyone can think what they like,” the goalkeeper said, according to AS.
“If the public want to whistle then they are right about everything. I can only go and play my best.”
