Real Madrid have reportedly added Martin Odegaard to their Champions League squad for this season’s knockout stages.
According to Marca, the teenage attacker cannot be included in List B since he does not meet the minimum requirements of serving the club for two years, despite being under 21.
Odegaard has been primarily training with Los Blancos’ Castilla team, scoring on his debut at the weekend, but he is also being considered by the first team, as announced at his official unveiling.
Therefore, he could become the youngest player to feature in the Champions League since Celestine Babayaro, who did so at 16 years and 87 days for Anderlecht during their match against Steaua Bucharest in 1994.
