Levante boss Lucas Alcaraz said his team was fortunate to have reached the last 16 of the Copa del Rey after the goalless draw with Albacete.
Los Granotas went into the game at the Ciutat de Valencia having secured a 1-1 draw in the first leg, but Alcaraz acknowledged it could easily have been the visitors who reached the next stage.
“We had good and bad moments but Albacete could have gone through themselves,” he told a Press conference.
“We started well but little by little we were incapable of scoring, while in the second half tiredness made us toil and we suffered in the final stretch.
“We should have scored earlier on and made it easier for ourselves, although we made a lot of changes.
“However, the aim is for players to compete and get some playing time, so we must be happy with that,” he maintained.
