Zinidine Zidane won’t be removed from his post as Coach of Real Madrid Castilla despite a looming three-month ban.
The RFEF has notified Madrid of a proposal to ban Zidane for three months as he holds the post of Coach despite not carrying the required qualifications.
Marca reports, however, that even if Zidane is banned for three months, he will remain as Coach as Madrid feel it’s important for his development as a trainer.
Zidane retains the confidence of President Florentino Perez and it’s said that only the former midfielder could change that, if he chose to walk away.
Marca also note that Castilla’s poor results, with only two wins all season, are a greater threat to Zidane’s future than the possible suspension, as if the team were relegated in May, it would be more difficult for Zizou to continue.
