Ferrer laments Cordoba performance

Cordoba Coach Albert Ferrer admitted his side didn’t deserve anything out of their trip to Valencia.

Los Che claimed a 3-0 win to go top of the League on goals scored and speaking to reporters after the match, Ferrer accepted the result was a fair one.

“Valencia had more desire and intensity, they were better than us and we have to think about Sunday and how not to repeat this,” he said, according to Marca.

“If we can’t compete with the same intensity, we can’t win.”

Ferrer was asked about the absence of Fede, who missed the match as he is on loan from Valencia.

“We have to compete every week and that is something that goes beyond the presence or otherwise of Fede,” Ferrer countered.

“The Primera is nothing like the League we have come from and we are running out of options.”
