Fabio Capello believes that Barcelona are one of the few top clubs to have strengthened well this summer.
However, the Italian told Sky Sports he has doubts over whether Barca’s attacking ‘trident’ is fully of aware of its defensive responsibilities.
“Barca have reinforced very well. A player like Luis Suarez can make the difference in attack because he is a constant danger
“Along with Neymar and Messi he will form a great ‘trident’ and it would be perfect if these players took part more in the defensive side of things.
“Suarez does it, the other two perhaps a little less. Messi used to do it but not so much now, although he is always a massive worry for his opponents,” maintained Capello.
Finally, the former Real Madrid Coach and current Russian national team boss added that he considered Madrid favourites to defend their Champions League trophy, although he believes Chelsea and Bayern Munich ‘will be just as dangerous’.
