Spain striker Pedro, one of the goalscorers in Spain’s 5-1 win over Macedonia on Monday, says he is still not operating at 100 per cent.
“I’ve done quite well in the last two games with the Spanish team but I’ve lacked rhythm. Little by little I’m getting better and with the help of my teammates I’ll get back to my level,” the Tenerife-born player told reporters after the game.
The Barcelona man acknowledged that he had several chances to have added to the scoresheet against the Macedonians.
“I had a few other opportunities to have scored a goal and in the end I was able to get one,” he said.
