Line-ups: France-Spain

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has named three new caps in his side for the friendly with France in Paris.

Goalkeeper Iker Casillas has surprisingly been left out to make way for David de Gea, who will be winning his second cap, while only Sergio Busquets and Sergio Ramos remain from the starting line-up for La Roja’s World Cup qualifier against France 17 months ago.

As expected, Diego Costa is named as the lone striker and will be hoping to break his international duck with Spain, having transferred his allegiance from Brazil, following his disappointing showing at the World Cup.

In contrast, Del Bosque’s opposite number Didier Deschamps has stuck with the core of the players who made such a positive showing in Brazil during the summer and will see this as an opportunity to build upon that.

Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema continues up top for Les Bleus with new Atletico Madrid signing Antoine Griezmann supporting him in attack in the absence of Franck Ribery, who has retired from international football.

Benzema's clubmate Rafael Varane is named in the French defence while Barcelona new boy Jeremy Mathieu has to be content with a place on the bench.

France: Lloris; Debuchy, Varane, Sakho, Evra; Pogba, Matuidi, Sissoko, Valbuena, Griezmann; Benzema

Spain: De Gea; Carvajal, Ramos, San Jose, Azpilicueta; Busquets, Koke, Raul Garcia, Fabregas, Cazorla; Diego Costa
