Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero has admitted he dreamed of playing for Real Madrid but is happy with the Serie A club.
The sides meet tomorrow in a friendly in Poland and Valero welcomed the fixture as a good challenge for the Florence side.
“I’m happy, it will be a nice test and we are facing the European champions and the Super Cup winners,” AS reports Valero as telling Sky Sports.
“For us it will be important to know how we are in a physical point of view and the technical-tactical.
“For me it’s a special game because I grew up there and because they taught me everything I know.
“It will be a great thrill. My dream was to play there all my life, with that shirt. In the end it wasn’t possible but I’m happy with what I’ve done and for now I’m satisfied.”
