Suarez appeal decision tomorrow

The Court of Arbitration for Sport will announce their decision on Luis Suarez’s biting ban appeal tomorrow.

Sport reports that the decision will be made public at 2pm UK time, 3pm in Spain.

Suarez was banned from all football activity for four months after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup as Uruguay beat the Azzurri in a group stage encounter.

He later moved from Liverpool to Barcelona but the terms of his suspension mean he can’t train with his new club and isn’t allowed to enter a football ground.

Suarez and the Uruguayan federation first appealed to FIFA and, when the petition was rejected, took their case to CAS.

The appeal was heard last week in a session lasting five hours, Sport add, with attorneys for Barcelona also present.

Sport claim Barca, the player and the Uruguayan federation are confident Suarez will soon be able to turn out for his new club.
