Diego Godin has claimed that Atletico Madrid are just focusing on the Supercopa later this month.
The League champions will take on Copa del Rey winners Real Madrid in a two-legged affair next week.
And the central defender has reiterated the club’s mantra from last season, saying they are just focused on going game-by-game.
“We’re still thinking match-by-match,” he told the club’s official website.
“So all we’re focused on is the Supercopa. That’s our only goal at the moment.
“We’ll take the season one step at a time. Nothing is going to change.
“We’re still going to give everything on the pitch.”
