Villarreal have completed the signing of Argentine youngster Luciano Vietto on a five-year deal.
The 20-year-old is seen as one of the most promising forwards in South America, having starred for Argentina Under 20’s.
Several of Europe’s top sides were thought to have registered an interest, but the Yellow Submarine has confirmed his transfer for the next five years.
Vietto was the fourth-top goalscorer in the Clausura for Racing Club in 2013, and will formally put pen to paper this afternoon.
