Scuffet set for Granada then Atleti?

Udinese goalkeeper Simone Scuffet could be the man to replace Thibaut Courtois at Atletico Madrid.

The Belgium international looks set to leave Vicente Calderon this summer after three season with the champions, moving back to parent club Chelsea.

And Gazzetta dello Sport report that the hierarchy in the capital have ear-marked the 18-year-old as his long-term successor.

It is suggested that Diego Simeone’s men will sign the teenager described as ‘the next Buffon’, but will allow him to go on loan to Granada for the 2014-15 campaign.

The Pozzo family own both Udinese and the Andalusian outfit, and are keen to keep hold of their star asset for at least one more campaign.
