Real Madrid fans will have the chance to pay their own respects to Alfredo Di Stefano this morning as he will lie in repose at Santiago Bernabeu.
The Blancos legend sadly passed away on Monday aged 88 after failing to recover from a heart attacker that he suffered on Saturday.
The sad news was confirmed yesterday afternoon, and overnight the European champions have revealed that they will allow Madridistas to come and bid a final farewell to their Honorary President.
Di Stefano will be laid at Santiago Bernabeu at 10.30 CET this morning, with President Florentino Perez confirming: “This stage was his factory, his home and his sacred ground. It is here we will pay him the tribute he deserves.”
