Sergio Ramos has cited Real Madrid legend Alfredo di Stefano as inspiration ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg against Juventus.
The defender recalled the words of the Los Blancos great as he asked fans to inspire the team to a comeback at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night, following last week’s 2-1 first leg defeat in Turin.
“Di Stefano said ‘No player is as good as all the players together’. You are No 12 #JuntosAPorLaUndecima,” wrote Ramos on Twitter (the hashtag meaning ‘United for the 11th’).
