Suarez & two more for Barca?

Barcelona are focused on three more transfer targets, reports in Spain claim – Marquinhos, Juan Cuadrado and Luis Suarez.

Sport say the trio are where all Barca’s efforts lie, with Jeremy Mathieu also on the agenda, but the proposed signing of the Valencia captain is further along the line than the other three.

It’s claimed that Barca considered a move for Mesut Ozil but decided an approach for Suarez was a better use of the money available.

Cuadrado is understood to be unwilling to talk of a move from Fiorentina for as long as Colombia remain in the World Cup, but Barca see him as an option to replace Dani Alves at right-back. There is a concern, however, that his price will continue to rise as long as the South Americans remain in the tournament.

Marquinhos could leave Paris Saint-Germain for €40m and his place in the capital is under threat from the arrival of David Luiz.

Liverpool will hold out for top dollar for Suarez and Barca may offer Alexis Sanchez in part exchange to try and get the €70m price tag lowered.

Isaac Cuenca, Jonathan Dos Santos, Ibrahim Afellay, Bojan and Oier Olazabal are all free to leave Camp Nou, while the futures of Alves, Alex Song, Pedro and Alexis all need to be determined.
