Fabio Capello has suggested that officials at the World Cup have an anti-Russia bias after his side were eliminated from the tournament.
A 1-1 draw with Algeria saw Russia bow out of Group H with the North African side qualifying at their expense.
Speaking after the match, Capello said he didn’t want to speak about the referee, before doing exactly that.
“I’m very upset. I don’t like to talk about referees, but they go against Russia,” AS reports the former Real Madrid Coach as complaining.
“Referees always go against us. There was another penalty. I can’t understand why they always go against us.”
