Del Bosque pleased with dignified exit

Vicente del Bosque has claimed that Spain ended their World Cup in a ‘dignified manner’ after beating Australia.

La Roja overcame the Oceania nation 3-0 on Monday, thanks to goals from David Villa, Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.

“We ended our participation in the most dignified manner,” he told reporters after the game.

“We were by far and away the better team.

“There are a lot of good players that can help this team.

The Coach was then asked about his own future.

“There is sufficient time for that. In the next few days I'd imagine, probably next week.”
