Fiorentina hoping to keep Cuadrado

Fiorentina President Andrea Della Valle has claimed that they will attempt to ‘do the impossible’ and keep Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombia international, who yesterday was bought outright by the Tuscan side after he was part-owned by Udinese, has been heavily linked with a move away.

Barcelona are thought to be at the front of the queue to sign the wide man, but the Italian outfit’s chief has insisted that they will do all they can to keep Cuadrado.

“I had promised him, we have signed him outright, it is a great sign that the club wanted to give to everyone,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“And now we will do the impossible to ensure that he stays with us.

“Will we have to fight with the big clubs on the market? We are familiar with this, if there is a fight, we will do so.”
