Mundo Deportivo has cited reports from the English Press that say Barcelona could make an approach for Ashley Cole.
Cole is a free agent after leaving Chelsea at the end of the season and the Daily Mail claim Barca are one of a number of big-name clubs considering the left-back.
It’s said that La Blaugrana are joined by the likes of Milan, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in weighing up a move for Cole, who was left out of England’s World Cup squad this summer.
The 33-year-old lost his place under Jose Mourinho last season to Cesar Azpilicueta, who deputised while Cole was injured and then kept the left-back spot despite being right-footed.
