Barca could send two to Everton

Everton are speaking with Barcelona over taking more players on loan from the club’s B team.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the success of Gerard Deulofeu’s loan spell at Goodison Park has encouraged manager Roberto Martinez and Barca sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta to explore other possibilities.

Barca are said to be impressed with Martinez’s attitude and the style of football his teams play, and Zubi visiting the Merseyside club’s facilities in February.

With Everton competing in next year’s Europa League it is likely that Barca will send another player, or perhaps two, to the club for the coming campaign, although MD don’t reveal any names.

Everton finished fifth in last season’s Premier League, Martinez’s first year at the club.
