Iran and Nigeria draw blank

Iran and Nigeria played out the first draw and goalless match of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

In a game badly lacking in both quality and chances, former Real Madrid Coach Carlos Queiroz led the Asian side to a point on their return to world football's most prestigious competition.

Nigeria, despite enjoying the better of possession, were largely toothless up front and can have no complaints about the final score.
