Gareth Bale has claimed that he will be ‘even better’ in his second season at Real Madrid.
The world’s most expensive player won the Copa del Rey and the Champions League in his debut campaign at Santiago Bernabeu.
And despite forging a great forward partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, the Wales international has insisted that the only way is up.
“I'm very happy at Real Madrid and next year I'm sure I'll be better," he said during a visit to Indonesia.
“Next year I want to retain the Champions League to become the first team to do so consecutively.”
