Deportivo La Coruna will return to the top flight for next season after clinching promotion from the Segunda.
A Carlos Marchena goal gave Depor victory over Jaen and confirmed Fernando Vasquez’s side in La Liga next year with a game to spare.
Eibar have already been promoted and now the two will compete for top spot – Depor are a point behind Eibar ahead of the final round of fixtures.
The League concludes next weekend with Eibar travelling to Numancia and Girona hosting Deportivo.
There are six teams in the running for a place in the play-offs while Barcelona B are currently in third place.
Murcia, Sporting Gijon, Las Palmas and Cordoba currently make up the play-off contingent but Recreativo Huelva and Sabadell could sneak into the group with the right set of results on the final day.
