Juan Mata, Koke, Fernando Torres and Cesar Azpilicueta have all used Twitter to share their delight about being named in Spain’s World Cup squad.
The quartet were all included by Vicente Del Bosque in the 23-man squad to go to Brazil when it was announced earlier on Saturday and AS has reported their reactions.
“I’m very happy to be among those invited to Brazil. I’m eager to help the national team in my first World Cup,” Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke wrote.
“I’ll have the fortune of being in Brazil with the national team. The road has been very productive. And now more!” Azpilicueta added.
“Very, very happy! Brazil here we go, we try to make history again,” Mata wrote.
Torres was more economical with his words than his teammates.
“As excited as the first time,” the Chelsea striker revealed.
