Pepe Reina has claimed that winning the World Cup has become ‘an obsession’ for himself and the rest of the squad.
The national team met at Ciutat de Futbol today to prepare for their friendly against Bolivia on Friday.
And the goalkeeper has conceded that lifting the trophy in Brazil is of paramount importance.
“This World Cup is a bit of an obsession for me because it is going to be really special,” he told reporters.
“We’ll be playing in the cradle of football.
“We’re going to try to become world champions again but we know that it’s going to be difficult; other teams are catching up to us and it just keeps getting more difficult.”
