Osasuna Coach Javi Gracia has confirmed he is leaving the club following their relegation to the Segunda on Sunday.
The Pamplona side beat Real Betis 2-1 in their final match of the season, but it was not enough to secure safety after other results went against them.
Now, the Spanish Press report that the tactician believes it to be ‘for the best’ that he moves on.
This is in spite of the fact that Rojillos President Miguel Archanco offered him the chance to continue in the role next year in the lower tier.
Gracia took over at Osasuna last September following the sacking of former Coach Jose Luis Mendilibar, but he was unable to prevent the club’s 14-year stay in Spain’s top flight from coming to an end.
