Unai Emery was pleased with his Sevilla team after they finished the season with a 3-1 win over Elche.
Two goals from Fuente and one from Jairo gave the Rojiblancos the victory that saw them finish the campaign in fifth place on 63 points.
“Sustained growth is something that we had in mind,” he told a Press conference.
“And logically, that comes from winning. We wanted to give some of the lads who hadn’t had that much of a chance this season, and they showed they had the quality.”
The Coach then commented on reports that Ivan Rakitic and Carlos Bacca could leave in the summer.
“We do not have any fear that the major players could leave, because Sevilla has always had the ability to place them.”
