Everton are preparing to make a bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, reports in the British Press indicate.
Several Premier League sides, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, have been to watch the 19-year-old this term during a successful loan spell at Rayo Vallecano.
But the Daily Mail claim on Saturday that Roberto Martinez’s men are the latest side to register an interest in Saul.
The paper believes that the Goodison Park outfit have held talks with the Spain Under-21’s father about a potential transfer.
The youngster has only recently signed an extension with Atleti however, tying him to the club until 2018, with a buyout clause of €25m.
