Javi Gracia is remaining optimistic that his Osasuna side can avoid relegation, despite being entrenched in the drop zone.
The Rojillos drew 1-1 with Espanyol on Sunday, which means that with one game left of the season, the Pamplona team are in 18th place with 36 points, two behind their nearest rivals.
“Assessing this result and others this weekend, we have to remain optimistic,” he told a Press conference.
“Obviously, we’re still in a situation where we’re in a bad place in the table, but we have to forget that and go for the win next time.
“Today’s was a close and tense game. But our fans have given so much. We just have to remain positive.”
