Paco Jemez admitted that his Rayo Vallecano were completely outplayed against Villarreal, as they lost 4-0 at El Madrigal.
The capital club were dismantled by the Yellow Submarine on Saturday evening, and the Coach conceded that his men were second best throughout.
“We have to put our hands up after that result,” he told a Press conference. “It was a bad performance from us.
“It wasn’t the sort of game we wanted to play. They were much better than us, it’s as simple as that.
“The lads left it all on the pitch, but we’ve failed.”
