Juan Antonio Pizzi had no complaints with the result after seeing his Valencia side draw 1-1 with Osasuna on Saturday.
Oriol Riera put Osasuna in front inside 20 minutes but Jonas equalised with eight minutes to go.
Marca reports that Pizzi conceded the outcome was about right at his post-match Press conference.
“It was a close game but we were largely dominant. There weren’t many chances though. The draw is fair,” Pizzi said.
“But our possession and territorial dominance was very strong.
“They believed that if they defended well it would be difficult for us to get a goal but we scored in the final stretch but we had little time.
“Our control was already great and we were comfortable.”
Pizzi did say, however, that Los Che should have been awarded a penalty for handball by Marc Bertran
