‘Things didn’t go our way’

Marc Bartra conceded that ‘things didn’t go our way’ as Barcelona lost to Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.

The young defender netted his side’s goal, but that was in between strikes from Angel Di Maria and Gareth Bale.

“Things have not gone our way,” he told reporters after the game.

“Possession was ours, but perhaps they have been more effective. They had two real chances and scored twice.

“Now we will go for it in the League.”
