Unai Emery is ‘excited’ by Sevilla’s Europa League semi-final against Valencia, claiming it will be an even contest.
The Rojiblancos were drawn with their Liga rivals in the last four of the competition, and the Coach has admitted that it will be a tight affair.
“As we expected, whoever we drew was going to be a good rival,” he told uefa.com.
“We're satisfied. We think it is going to be a really attractive tie and one that will take a Spanish team through to the final, which is good for the national game.
“Both the team and our fans will be full of hope and anticipation going into these games. We want to do something big in this tournament.
“Valencia will bring all of their ingredients to make this tie special. At this stage of the competition, every team is at the top level.
“The teams know each other well. We are very equal in every sense. It's best to just accept [that we will play the return game away from home]. If we accept it, it is easier to be better prepared.”
