Real Madrid President Florentino Perez, Radamel Falcao, Txiki Begiristain and Jorge Mendes, among others, have had dinner in Madrid.
The group was joined by would-be Valencia owner Peter Lim and the President of Monaco, Falcao’s club, DmitryRybolovlev.
Marca reports that the topics of discussion were not known but with the power-brokers from Madrid, Manchester City and Monaco present, it is speculated that transfers were on the agenda.
Mendes is Falcao’s agent and Marca suggests a three-way transfer exchange was mooted.
The proposed deal would see Madrid’s Angel Di Maria move to Monaco, Falcao leave Monaco for Manchester City, and City sell Sergio Aguero to Madrid.
It is noted that Perez has long wanted Aguero at Santiago Bernabeu but was unable to sign the Argentine when he left Atletico Madrid for City in 2011.
