Juan Antonio Pizzi believes Valencia can dig deep enough to overcome the injuries afflicting the squad ahead of the trip to Almeria.
Los Che will be without goalkeeper Diego Alves while Fede is a doubt. The winger is expected to be included in the squad but it’s not clear if he’s fit enough to start.
Pizzi though insisted at his pre-match Press conference that while Valencia are currently giving their all, they can still go further and win the tough games.
“We’re at our limit now, taking injuries into account. But that doesn’t reduce our chances either in La Liga or the Europa League,” the Coach said.
“We’re still capable of winning the games we need to win.
“Almeria are in a difficult situation but they’ll be enthusiastic after being Real Sociedad.
“They have players who can make a difference and enough quality to do us harm.
“We need to be focused and take advantage of any weakness they show.”
