Following Undiano Mallenco’s performance in Sunday’s Clasico, reports in the Spanish Press claim that referee Mateu Lahoz will be in charge for the next clash.
The official was pilloried by Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos following the weekend’s match at Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid lost 4-3 to Barcelona, with Ramos getting a straight red card and three penalties being awarded.
As such, sports daily AS claim that Lahoz will be the man in the middle for the next Clasico, which will be the Copa del Rey final.
Los Blancos will play their Catalan rivals at Valencia’s Mestalla on April 16.
Lahoz has only ever been in charge for one Clasico before now – the 2012 Supercopa that Madrid won 2-1.
