Atletico Madrid defender Miranda has called on the team to end their League campaign strongly and go for first place.
Los Colchoneros are currently second behind Real Madrid but only three points separate the city rivals.
There are 10 games to play and Miranda told an interview on the club’s official website and published by Marca that Atletico need to try to win them all.
“[To be in this position] means we’re having a very good year and we will look for first place, which is most important.
“The important thing is how you finish in the League and leaders hope to finish first.
“There are practically 10 finals to play and starting with Real Betis, if we win 10 games then good things are going to happen.”
Miranda added that the support of the fans is what has driven him on to better this season and he doesn’t believe there is a more passionate group of fans in the country.
“The truth is, the fans motivate me even more to defend Atletico. What I like is that they sing a lot.
“I think they’re the best in Spain. The rest is up to us, so people can enjoy their football.”
