Pizzi wants Valencia dedication

Juan Antonio Pizzi has called for his Valencia side to be focused and determined in the second leg of their Europa League tie with Ludogorets.

Los Che hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg, played in Bulgaria, and the Coach said at his pre-match Press conference ahead of the second leg that Valencia can’t assume the game is over.

“We’re on the right track but it wouldn’t be the first time a team has been eliminated from this position,” Pizzi said.

“I’ve asked for the greatest concentration, the best performance and total dedication.

“I also want the support of the fans, who might take things for granted. Then we might end up with an upset.”

Pizzi added that the three-goal advantage was not, in his mind, a reason to name a weakened team.

“I don’t see any difference in how we have to face the game because of the result in Bulgaria,” he said.

“We’ll put out a team we feel best represents us and we won’t underestimate our opponent or the score.”
