Line-ups: Madrid-Schalke

With Real Madrid virtually through to the quarter-finals, Carlo Ancelotti’s has named a much-changed line-up against Schalke this evening.

Los Blancos beat the Bundesliga side 6-1 in the first leg two weeks ago, so the Italian Coach has rung the changes for tonight’s match at Santiago Bernabeu.

Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema miss out, with Jese and Alvaro Morata starting up front alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Luka Modric and Angel Di Maria meanwhile, are rested ahead of the weekend’s Clasico, with Xabi Alonso, Asier Illarramendi and Isco making up the midfield three.

At the back, Sergio Ramos returns from his ban, with Nacho, Fabio Coentrao and Raphael Varane completing the back four. Iker Casillas plays in goal.

The German outfit go with a 4-2-3-1, with former Madrid man Klaas-Jan Huntelaar leading the line.
