Marc Bartra will next week put pen to paper on a new contract that ties him to Barcelona until the summer of 2017.
The club’s official website has confirmed that the defender’s new contract includes a release fee of €25m.
Bartra made his Barca debut as a right back under Pep Guardiola in 2010, having come through the academy at La Masia following a short spell at Espanyol.
He has featured more regularly in the first team this season under Tata Martino, to date making 20 appearances in all competitions.
The deal will be formally completed on March 18.
